In the third weave I looked at the tapestry designer Ruth Hollos who looks at proportions of colours. Similarly to this tapestry I have tried to accomplish different scales of the weave in the slits. I tried to compliment the colours and throughout the project I have always liked these colours as I think they contrast each other well. The Bauhaus is an example below, where woven textiles are incorporated. There are the same colours that are repeated but they are shaped and directed differently in the weave. As said above the Riley influenced these colours that I used, therefore I tried to supplement both styles.

My first weave I enjoyed making as I tried to combine the different techniques, such as the diagonal weave shapes and the curving of the wefts. Even though I think the colours complement each other, I think maybe that they are quite blocked colours, which indeed gives a blocked effect but instead I could have blended the colours more.
